Emmanuel Osei (BA Hons, MSc)

Mr. Emmanuel Osei is currently the Managing Director of Country Advisors Limited, a transaction advisory company. Mr. Osei was an Executive Director and Head of Export Finance and Debt Capital Markets at Inter-Afrique Capital limited, a financial services company as the local representative of BNP Paribas Bank. As an Executive Director at the company, Emmanuel originated, developed and executed transactions for the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) division of BNP Paribas, the leading European Bank.

Mr. Osei started as an Associate Consultant at Inter-Afrique Holdings Limited, the parent company of the Inter-Afrique Group. After joining the company in early 2009, Emmanuel was a major contributor to the growth of the company’s business portfolio as the local Representative of BNP Paribas in Ghana. Spanning a wide range of corporate and investment banking services.

Prior to joining Inter-Afrique, Emmanuel was a Management Consultant at Ernst & Young – Ghana in 2008. At Ernst & Young, Emmanuel worked on various projects including: The Ghana Power Sector Financial Restructuring and Recovery Study, which reviewed the financial status of all three publicly-owned power sector utility companies (VRA, Gridco, ECG) and proposed a financial restructuring and recovery program for the companies.

Mr. Osei holds a BA (Hons.) degree in Financial Economics from the University of Liverpool; an MSc. International Strategy And Economics degree from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland) and an Executive Certificate of Management in Energy (with a focus on Oil and Gas) from Rice University (USA).
